I am one of the 300,000
According to Mashable, Plants vs Zombies for iPhone hit 300,000 downloads in 9 days which may be a new record for app store launches (still to be verified). I’m not ashamed to admit that I am one of the 300,000. PvZ is the most addictive game I have played in a long time. It has my boyfriend and I fighting over my iPhone. I might have to come up with a sharing schedule before it drives a wedge in our relationship!
Just remind me not to show PvZ to my 3-year-old nephew. I made the mistake of showing him Airport Mania on the weekend. He was completely enamoured with the cute graphics and sound effects but was unable to grasp the gameplay. That led to about an hour of me instructing him, “Tap the plane, now tap a runway, now tap that one, oops didn’t quite get it, tap again, tap it right in the middle, now tap this one, no don’t tap that one yet…” *facepalm*
